Be Safe in partnership with the Home Office have been offering to train weapons awareness trainers across the UK.
Due to the amazing uptake on this course the allocation of 75 new Home Office sponsered trainers for the year 2008-2009 has already been filled.
There is already a waiting list of 43 people for the next allocation and so we have asked the Home Office to release funds to allow a further 100 spaces to be made available this year.
We are awaiting a reply but will post details here as soon as one comes.
